The Ultimate Real Estate (and/or business) Marketing Pie.

Could social media be the answer to your marketing success? Heather and I discussed for a while how we would divide the Ultimate Real Estate (and/or business) Marketing Pie.

After much debate, we concluded that Social Media would only account for 25% of what you should do to properly market yourself and your listings. Namely:

1. Staying in touch with your previous clients is the most important thing (referrals) and your email database (newsletter): 35%
2. Social Media: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube…: 25%
3. Community engagement (in person!) Walking the dog, talking to your neighbours, volunteering, and being present: 15%
4. Your website. If people land on it, will they know in 10 seconds who you are, what you do, what listings you have, and how to get ahold of you?
5. YouTube, owned by Google the biggest search engine in the world: 5%
6. Paper/Print, old school: 5%

Remember to diversify. Accounts get hacked. You do know your own social media but you own your website, your email database, and your contact list.
