I have been following this program for 2 months now and it has literally transformed me. Not only am I leaner and stronger, but I also sleep better, run faster, have way more energy. I’m more efficient at cooking and planning meals and I have a “peaceful mental approach” to calories. 🍎

My before and after! 30 days, yeah! I’m so happy.

To be honest I’m not even sure how I gained all this belly fat. During isolation, I was running and mountain biking. I thought I was eating healthy and not doing too bad, except the extra glass of wine, extra beer or cider here and there, cheese and crackers or chips at the cottage on the dock when the weather got better. Less time to exercise with the kids at home, endless hours on the computer… There you have it. 

I was left with one pair of “COVID jeans” with all the other awesome ones pushed to the side of the rack in my closet. The breaking point was when my teenage son (aren’t they the best?) told me that not only was my belly flopping over my jeans but my zip was opening up. Seriously.

I saw the photo of a lady I know in Whistler LOOKING AMAZINGLY HEALTHY (with a strong flat belly) and sharing info about the Fuel For Fat Loss program I was super intrigued and decided to try it out, to see.

I LOVE:

  • All the resources, such as: cool, fast, fun, and super-effective workouts. I DO NOT like the gym but I love feeling strong. They are PERFECT. And all my kids would join in lol.
  • The smoothie recipes and morning oats and puddings. I am addicted to them. I used to come back from a run and eat whatever I could put my hands on. These really help me calm down the “angry hunger” and be able to cook and eat healthy.
  • The Facebook group is awesome. Daily tips, recipes, community, reminders. Thumbs up.
  • The fact that you focus on macros (keeping track of what you eat for a balanced diet) and not on calories.
  • The meal prepping tips and meal plans. It all makes so much sense and allows you to be efficient and have a packed fridge of healthy food ready to go for the week in less than 2 hours total.
  • The fact that all the recipes are family-friendly. I sometimes add pasta, rice, or potatoes on the side but overall everyone loves the meals and the change from the same old same old mom go to 5 dinner recipes!

I have always lived a healthy lifestyle but with age (yup, 45!), work, and the family, I found that I was getting in a routine of the same food, same workout, same tucking my belly in front of the mirror. I needed a reboot button and Fuel for Fat Loss hit the spot.
